
For 23 years, Gary Burns has been assisting middle market manufacturing companies with the evaluation, selection and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and assisting companies with re-engineering processes and solving complex business challenges associated with the broad scope of functions included in ERP.
In concert with his staff of consultants, Gary has assisted a broad range of companies ranging from the production of durable goods (discrete) to food, beverage, ingredients, and nutrition (process) for a host of commercial companies.
Most recently Gary has been instrumental in Global ERP Program Management which has included entities operating in multiple countries including the UK and Europe, the Far East, including China, Singapore, Malaysia, and the UAE.
Gary has become heavily involved in addressing several aspects of food safety as a byproduct of ERP implementations with a focus upon compliance with legislation surrounding FSMA and the SQFI as well as the need for process companies to attain global food safety certifications such as SQF, BRC, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and SFS
Gary is conversant in a broad range of ERP products and functions including design to deliver, order to cash, procure to pay, plan to produce, financial management, warehouse management, business intelligence, CRM, PLM, Supply Chain/Logistics, Trade Promotion Management, Direct Store Delivery, Configuration Management, Quality and Laboratory Management, Human Capital Management, Grower Management, Producer Payroll, and a host of other functions which often are supplemental to core ERP products.
