view profileGary developed a full RFI. After that, he developed and distributed a more detailed RFP to the appropriate vendors. The RFP included 400-500 requirements he had called out during the course of the stakeholder/business interviews. He has an incredible capacity for detail – he understands the business processes. He really immerses himself in his clients’ business and thoroughly understands it.
I have known Gary for 8 years. He and I were involved in a project at a prior company I worked for and I got to know him there. So when I went to work for Mizkan and realized that we needed to replace a major Transportation Management system (and possibly a new ERP), I called him to help me with the Business Analysis and Vendor Selection process. He also managed the RFI and RFP process for us.
Gary came in to create Business Requirements and help us with vendor selection for a total ERP system. Gary did an excellent job: We knew that we just couldn’t afford to get stuck with a system that didn’t work in the end. He is very IT savvy, but really knows the business side as well. Because he “gets” the business, he is very aware that his clients cannot afford to get stuck with something that doesn’t work.
Our business extremely complicated and also global. GLB successfully assisted with the initial justification, and has been retained to assist in the implementation in China, The United Kingdom, Malaysia and the United States. They have been heavily involved as advocates and co-leaders of the entire project especially in Asia which on track to go-live any day now.
GLB was instrumental in assisting us in developing our overall systems strategy and with the evaluation, selection, and implementation oversight of ERP and PLM at Ruiz Foods. They were successful in assisting us with envisioning the change and empowering our end-users to select the next generation ERP, while retaining our advanced scheduling, trade promotion and MES systems.
Here at Mariani, we entrusted GLB to assist us in developing a go forward ERP strategy. After conducting a thorough discovery and benefits analysis process, we opted to retain, upgrade, and further enhance our existing ERP system. Although this resulted in less effort for GLB, it was absolutely the right choice for our company and will save us significant time and dollars over a replacement ERP strategy.
